Hunter made it through to the finals at the wwa pro am wake games. However, on his second trick in his finals run, a scarecrow, he landed with his knee locked which ripped his acl and tore his meniscus. Hunter will undergo surgery to repair his acl on may 20th, and will begin the road to recovery for the 2014 season. he will come back stronger and better than before!

Hunter wins 2011 King of Wake Games by large margin
After finishing in 2nd place in the preliminary round of the Wake Games on Friday, Hunter had a stellar run to catapult him into the number one spot by a 14 point margin. One of the best runs he has had so far this season is the reason for this great accomplishment. Hunter will be back in competition on May 14th in the 2nd stop of the Gravel Tour. Congratulations to Hunter, 2011 King of Wake Champion!
Hunter Places 2nd at First Wakeboarding Tournament of the 2011 Season!
In the first tournament of the 2011 season on the Performance Gravel Tour, Hunter pulls out a nice run with some newer tricks to bring home a 2nd place finish. Hunter has spent many of the last few weeks down in Orlando doing extensive training to take him to the next level in his wakeboarding. This is hopefully a start to a great 2011 campaign for Hunter!

Hunter continued his off-season training for the 2011 season last week in Orlando with some of the top names in wakeboarding. He has really progressed and is excited for the 2011 season, a season which looks to be shaping up as one of his best years!
